Admission and application process (non-EU)

Applying online is quick and easy and gives us the best opportunity to respond quickly.

Apply online

We strongly advise all prospective students to keep up to date with the visa application process here:

www.gov.uk/child-study-visa (if you are under 18)

www.gov.uk/tier-4-general-visa (if you are over 18).

British & EU/EEA entry requirements & availability check

Upon receiving your application, we review your most recent academic qualifications and English language level and cross-reference this with the entry requirements for the course you have selected. Please note if you do not have an IELTS or equivalent English Certificate we can arrange for you to take our online English test. We will then check that there are places available on your desired course and we will contact you.

Visit the School or Skype Interview
We welcome potential students and their parents/guardians/agents to visit the School. The Admissions team can book you an appointment with the Principal and you will receive a full tour of the School. Ideally we like to meet with you face-to-face to discuss what we can offer and to find out more about what you are looking for. We are also happy to arrange taster days for any student that would like to sample a day at Bosworth. Alternatively we appreciate this is not always possible so we are happy to arrange a Skype Interview instead to discuss your application further.

Provisional Offer
Once all the paperwork is in place and the course has been agreed, we will send to you by post or email a provisional offer letter along with our terms and conditions for you to read and sign against. We will also include information of the fees and the methods of payment.

Deposit and Registration Fee payment
To confirm your acceptance of our provisional offer, and reserve your place, you will be required to sign and return our acceptance reply form. At this stage, we require a course deposit and registration fee. Please make sure you read and understand the admissions policy and the terms & conditions should you accept a place at Bosworth Independent School.

Confirmation of your place
Once we receive the above we will send you a confirmation letter with your visa support documentation. Your pre-arrival pack also includes forms for you to fill in and return to us: your accommodation preference, and your expected arrival time and travel details etc.

Welcome to Bosworth
You will arrive at Bosworth for your induction week. This week gives you time to settle into your new school surroundings and to meet staff and students, as well as collect your timetable. The following week your new course with us will commence!

Visa Application – Tier 4 Sponsor Status
The Tier 4 Sponsor Points Based System (PBS) for student visas was introduced in March 2009. Any institution offering a place of study to an international student must have a Sponsor Licence Number (SLN). Bosworth Independent School has been a Tier 4 Sponsor since it was introduced and the licence number appears on all of our “Confirmation of Acceptance” Letters.
