International Admissions

Applying online is quick and easy and gives us the best opportunity to respond quickly.

Apply online

Visa Application – Tier 4 Sponsor Status

Bosworth has been a Tier 4 Sponsor since it was introduced and the licence number appears on all of our “Confirmation of Acceptance” letters.

We do strongly advise all international (non-EU/EEA) students to keep up to date with the visa application process here:

www.gov.uk/child-study-visa (if you are under 18).

www.gov.uk/tier-4-general-visa (if you are over 18).

Admission and application process

You can either apply online to enrol on a course or you can send back an application form to us by email or post. Applying online is quick and easy and gives us the best opportunity to respond quickly.

Entry requirements and availability check
Upon receiving your application, we review your most recent academic qualifications and English language level and cross-reference this with the entry requirements for the course you have selected. Please note if you do not have an IELTS or equivalent English Certificate we can arrange for you to take our internal English test. We will then check that there are places available on your desired course and we will contact you.

Visit the College or Skype interview
We welcome potential students and their parents/guardians/agents to visit the College. The Admissions team can book you an appointment with the Principal or Assistant Principal, where you will receive a full tour of the College. Ideally, we like to meet with you face-to-face to discuss what we can offer and to find out more about what you are looking for. Alternatively, we are happy to arrange a Skype Interview instead to discuss your application further.

Provisional Offer
Once all the paperwork is in place and the course has been agreed, we will send to you a provisional offer letter along with our terms and conditions for you to read and sign against. We will also include information of the fees and the methods of payment.

Deposit and Registration Fee payment
To confirm your acceptance of our provisional offer, and reserve your place, you will be required to sign and return our acceptance reply form. At this stage, we require a course deposit and registration fee. Please make sure you read and understand the admissions policy and the terms & conditions should you accept a place at Bosworth Independent College.

Confirmation of your place
Once we receive the above we will send you a confirmation letter with your visa support documentation, if you require one. Your pre-arrival pack also includes forms for you to fill in and return to us before your arrival to the College.

Welcome to Bosworth
You will arrive at Bosworth for your induction week. This week gives you time to settle into your new college surroundings and to meet staff and students, as well as collect your timetable. The following week your new course with us will commence!
