Bosworth Independent College is a private secondary and further education College. 70% of our students come from overseas. Many UK and overseas students receive financial assistance.

Students in Year 13 and second-year BTEC in the current (2020-21) academic year have endured significant disruption to their education. Bosworth closed from March 23rd 2020 and was not able to resume before the start of the new academic year in September 2020. Teaching and learning were available online but were difficult for many students because of anti-Covid disruption in their own countries (especially in China, Vietnam, South Korea, Iran and Nigeria). All students including those from UK had degrees of access and connection problems from March 2020 until the end of last academic year.

In January 2021, many students will be affected by restructuring within the College which will result in new teachers taking over classes in the middle of Year 13 and Year 2 of BTEC. The Principal, the Head of Year 13 (paul.lewis@bosworthcollege.com) and other staff hope Admissions Tutors will be able to bear in mind the difficulties this cohort of students have experienced when they make offers, and also decisions on A-level and BTEC Results Days in August 2021.
