Bosworth Nurse

Bosworth has a School Nurse who resides in her surgery, located at Bosworth Hall.

Bosworth Nurse

The School Nurse, Caroline, runs a “drop-in” surgery where students can discuss any routine enquiries or review their general health. Caroline will register our boarding students with the local GP practice so they can see the doctor as and when required. She can also make referrals to an external counselling provider on request.

For any students who reside in the boarding houses, a sickbay is available if they are not well enough to attend lessons.

Furthermore, the Nurse or senior member of staff will escort all under 16 students or at their request over 16’s to the doctors or for a hospital appointment. Either age group then have the right to take the appointment alone, as the nurse will always respect a student’s right to confidentiality and privacy.

We request all new students to complete our medical history form. This information is vital to provide adequate care for each individual. Thus, we strongly advise you to provide as much information as possible on your form.

The Nurse service is available for both boarders and day students at Bosworth Independent School.
